• How much does it cost to host a Lil’ Libros Book Fair? 

It’s free! We provide all the materials needed to run your fair, including merchandise, technology, digital and printed promotional resources. 

• In which areas are in-person book fairs available? 

We proudly partner with schools and/or community centers throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County. Locations such as Ventura County or San Bernardino County may be able to host an in-person fair when an interested school is able to refer another local school to host a fair during the same timeframe. Please contact our team to learn more about specific location opportunities. 

• How far in advance can I schedule my book fair? 

Please confirm your book fair with us at least 30 days in advance.

• Are you an approved LAUSD vendor? 

Yes! We are a proud LAUSD vendor and will readily provide our vendor number. 

• How many days does a typical Lil’ Libros book fair run? 

To help sites maximize strong participation and rewards, a minimum Book Fair length of three days is required. Most schools choose to host a fair for five days. Schools interested in a one-day or special event are encouraged to contact our team to discuss available options. 

• Is there a minimum goal we need to meet to qualify for rewards?

To ensure the most out of your fundraising goals and rewards, we have a required minimum of $1,000 in net sales to be eligible for the rewards. Typically, this is reached with a mix of promotion efforts and 5-day long book fairs. 

• How does delivery and pick-up work? 

All delivery and pick-up dates/times are scheduled to align with the book fair host’s availability. Inventory drop-off can be as early as the week before the book fair start date and pick-up no later than a week after the book fair concludes.  
 
Note: Same day drop-off and pick-up are subject to availability. 

• How much merchandise should we plan to receive at our school? 

The inventory we bring to a book fair depends on the number of students at the school and the location of the event. On average, sites can expect 25-35 boxes of inventory for 5-day fairs.

• Can teachers create a wish list for their classrooms? 

Yes! Hosts are provided with downloadable Teacher Wish List templates to share with teacher before or during the fair. Once the fair has concluded and the site is ready to redeem its rewards, we encourage the site to review the completed wish list and use them as a guide when selecting items for redemption.  

• What is the price range for your products? 

Our board books for ages 0-6 cost between $9.99-$12.99. 
Picture books for ages 6-13 range from $10.99-$19.99. 
Games and accessories are priced from $10.99-$21.99. 

Other Consumer Products can be up to $39.99. 

• Will sales tax be added to purchases? 

Lil’ Libros adheres to all applicable legal requirements and collects sales tax as required by the State of California and local taxing regulations. 

• Can we bring in an author and/or illustrator during the book fair? 

Talent requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Please reach out to our team for talent requests.  

• What are Lil’ Libros Dollars? 

Lil’ Libros Dollars are the fundraising credits earned by the book fair host site based on our fundraising tiers and your total net sales. These credits can be redeemed for in-stock Lil’ Libros books, games, pins, and prints at their full retail price.  
 
Note: Lil’ Libros Dollars cannot be applied to discounted books or products listed on any sales channel, including the website, warehouse sales, event sales or other discounted offerings. 

• What is the Lil’ Libros Cash-Back Option? 

The Lil’ Libros cash-back option refers to a portion of your site's total net sales that is sent to your site as a check. Currently, a book fair host is eligible to receive cash-back if its book fair net sales are $3,500 or more. You can opt to receive your profit: (a) 40% in Lil’ Libros Dollars (b) 25% in cash-back.  Explore our fundraising tier guide here.  

• How quickly are rewards issued after our book fair ends? 

Congratulations! You’ve finished a successful Lil’ Libros Book Fair. A digital report of your sales is issued within 7-10 business days after the inventory has been picked up and fully processed internally.  

Note: Lil’ Libros Dollar redemptions can take up to 30 days. 

• Do my Lil’ Libros rewards expire? 

Rewards expire within 6 months, unless the site hosts another book fair within 7 months from the last book fair date. Once expired, the rewards are no longer able to be redeemed. 

• Who is responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged books? 

Any items that are lost, stolen or damaged will be assessed at their replacement value. Associated costs will be deducted from earned incentive awards or billed directly to the book fair host.
