Studies show that kids can lose valuable reading skills over the summer break. One of the best ways to keep children learning is through the simple joy of being read to. That’s why we created the Summer Storytime Challenge—a fun and rewarding way to encourage parents, teachers, and caregivers to read aloud with children all summer long.

Here’s how it works:

  • Read 9 books aloud with your child (download our free Storytime Log to track them).

  • Have your child complete the drawing and description sheet of their favorite book moment.
