Lil’ Libros - Chocolate Truffles - Recipe

This recipe is inspired by Lucy & Desi and those unforgettable chocolate factory laughs we all love 💕
It’s made for sharing, laughing, and getting a little messy together.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225 g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate

  • ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream

  • ½ cup shredded coconut

  • ½ cup finely chopped nuts

  • ½ cup cocoa powder


Instructions:

Makes: about 18–20 truffles
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Chill Time: 1–2 hours

  1. Place the chocolate and heavy cream in a heatproof bowl. Melt gently over a double boiler, stirring until smooth and glossy.

  2. Pour the ganache into a shallow mold or dish. Let it cool, then refrigerate until fully set, about 1–2 hours.

  3. Once firm, scoop small portions of the ganache using a spoon.

  4. Quickly roll each portion between your hands to form a ball before the chocolate melts.

  5. Roll the truffles in shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or chopped nuts to coat.

  6. Place each truffle in a small paper cup or candy liner.

  7. Serve and enjoy!
