Lil’ Libros - Chocolate Truffles - Recipe
This recipe is inspired by Lucy & Desi and those unforgettable chocolate factory laughs we all love 💕
It’s made for sharing, laughing, and getting a little messy together.
Ingredients:
8 oz (225 g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate
½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
½ cup shredded coconut
½ cup finely chopped nuts
½ cup cocoa powder
Instructions:
Makes: about 18–20 truffles
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Chill Time: 1–2 hours
Place the chocolate and heavy cream in a heatproof bowl. Melt gently over a double boiler, stirring until smooth and glossy.
Pour the ganache into a shallow mold or dish. Let it cool, then refrigerate until fully set, about 1–2 hours.
Once firm, scoop small portions of the ganache using a spoon.
Quickly roll each portion between your hands to form a ball before the chocolate melts.
Roll the truffles in shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or chopped nuts to coat.
Place each truffle in a small paper cup or candy liner.
Serve and enjoy!
